I took these photos whilst wandering around the excellent Reina Sofia museum in Madrid. They have an excellent collection of modern art, with a focus (unsurprisingly) on Spanish artists. There's lots of work by Picasso, Miro, Dali and their ilk. There were also some excellent temporary exhibitions too for my visit, my favourite was the exhibition 'Game Plan' by Italian artist Alighiero Boetti, featuring his excellent series Mappa and lots of his other work too. Lots of it seems to be influenced my mathematics and game theory like the Game of Life, fractals and other such wondrous things.
It was a late Sunday afternoon in December when I took these pictures. I used my iPhone and then the Snapseed app to increase the contrast and change the colour balance.
I think they're quite effective.
They probably say something profound about what constitutes art - "Photographs of an art gallery, not featuring art, wow, that's like so deep dude!". I don't know. They're nice anyway.
